Kong Kasc is a via ferrata accessory designed to be permanently installed on steel cables or chains in order to improve safety.
Made of thermoplastic rubber, it is able to withstand extreme temperatures (-40° +90°) and in the event of a fall, it absorbs the impact on the fixing bolt and helps the connector to position itself along the correct bearing line, reducing lateral forces/ torsional.
To install it, just screw the two bolts-nuts supplied. The four internal flexible lugs will hold Kasc in place on cables/chains up to 30mm in diameter.
