Patagonia Cragsmith 45l is a crag backpack. An updated and revamped version made of 100% post-consumer recycled polyester and water-repellent DWR treatment with PFC free. However, despite this minor change in the fabric used, the basic features of the backpack remain unchanged.
The exterior is a compact shell with just two side straps to compress it if necessary, two pockets for water bottles and another pair of straps to increase carrying capacity.
The top opening allows you to load your gear, and the zip running all the way along the back gives you immediate access to everything you have packed. All you have to do is throw the backpack on the ground and slide the zip down!
The 32-litre Cragsmith has padded shoulder straps (adjustable both above and below) to help support your weight when fully loaded, a minimalist waist belt with buckle closure, and a top handle for carrying by hand. It also has an internal back pocket that can be used for a hydration system.
