The purchase of RDS certified down products underlines the demand for better animal welfare practices in the supply chain of feathers and down used in the clothing industry. The tough ripstop outer fabric is made from 100% post-consumer recycled NetPlus® nylon, made from discarded fishing nets, to help reduce marine plastic pollution; with PFC-free DWR treatment (durable water repellent coating that does not contain perfluorocarbons)
