Versante Sud Verona Rock Klettergärten is a climbing guide in German for the crags dedicated to sport climbing between Lake Garda, Monte Baldo, the Adige Valley, Valpollicella, Valpantena and Lessinia.
Verona Rock Falesie was born from the previous edition of Monte Baldo Rock. With the desire to succeed in what the previous authors had tried in vain, Giovanni Avesani, Massimo Bursi, Fabio De Marchi, Claudio Migliorini, Diego Perotti, Giuseppe Vidali and Nicola Zorzi made use of the active and participating contribution of many Veronese bolters and climbers , a synergy that finally led to the creation of the first guide that includes the whole province of Verona.
Verona Rock Falesie is a complete and clear description of all the most popular crags, such as the historic Ceredo and Sengio Rosso, but it also includes the more recent or minor points, known only to local climbers. Splendid natural landscapes, such as the Adige canyon or the Lessini Mountains in the Little Dolomites, form the backdrop for variegated rock walls, ranging from leaning slabs to overhangs.
The best time to climb here is mid-season, although the high number of crags with many different exposures allows you to climb all year round.
