Blaze 86 is a ski that lends itself to everything, featuring a Tip to Tail hybrid plywood core, 86mm center width, 3D radius sidecut.

To cope with adverse conditions with snow being blown away by the wind and ruined, the Model 86 integrates suspension elements that completely surround the tip and tail. The elastic rubber material used on the tip and tail acts as a bumper, ensuring greater resistance to stress and exceptional buoyancy.

SUSPENSION TIPS & TAILS

Elastic TPU inserts on the edges of the tip and tail act as a bumper in windy or heavy snow conditions. Its elasticity absorbs shocks ensuring greater stability and buoyancy without hindrance.

HYBRID MULTILAYER WOODCORE

The hybrid plywood core, with an extremely complex and extraordinarily light structure, is used for the Blaze series. Lightweight and extremely stable elements in poplar and beech wood are integrated into this core, which are weighed individually and consequently selected before being glued. In the Tip to Tail structure, the wood extends all the way to the tip and tail, thus producing an ambitious combination of good stability and low weight. At the center of the core, an Isocore area modeled through CNC milling contributes to optimal durability and dynamic development. In summary, this type of structure makes it possible to harmonize the stability of the ski according to the high requirements of freeride, keeping the weight only slightly higher than that of a ski touring ski.
